Phil retired from the military in 2017 after serving for 23 years, during which time he completed tours of Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Phil founded Baxter Development Solutions which is an Energy and Risk Consultancy Company carrying out Domestic Energy Assessments and Legionella Risk Assessments.

He is regularly recognised across the region in his black and yellow branded smart car.

In his spare time he tends to his vegetable plots and rides his growing collection of motorbikes.
